Confined Space Entry

Confined space entry is a particularly dangerous activity and special care needs to be taken when work is done. The confined space permit assists the employer to make sure that adequate precautions are in place for each job or task involving confined spaces.

All Tank & Drain Services teams are trained to High Risk Confined Space level, so all are qualified in the use of Escape Set and SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus).

The basic equipment required for High Risk Confined Space Entry are: Gas Monitor (H2S, LEL, O2, CO2), tripod, winch/Fall arrest, full Body Harness, escape Set or SCBA, barriers and rescue Kit.
